Job Title: Travel Nurse (RN)

Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced, adaptable Travel Nurse (RN) to join our team and provide high-quality patient care across various healthcare settings. As a Travel Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in diverse clinical environments, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to patient health and safety across locations. Ideal candidates are flexible, self-motivated, and committed to delivering exceptional care.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Deliver comprehensive nursing care in line with facility policies and best practices, assessing patient needs and monitoring conditions.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, observing patient responses and documenting accordingly.
- Communication & Collaboration: Coordinate with healthcare teams, report patient progress, and ensure continuity of care within fast-paced environments.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and families on treatment plans, health management, and post-discharge instructions to encourage recovery and wellness.
- Adaptability: Quickly orient and adapt to each healthcare facility’s protocols, including electronic health record (EHR) systems, safety guidelines, and team structures.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the home state and/or a multi-state compact nursing license. Additional state licenses may be required.
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of recent RN experience, preferably in [relevant specialty, e.g., Emergency, ICU, Med-Surg]. Previous travel nursing experience is a plus.
- Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, PALS, or specialty certifications may be required depending on the assignment.
- Skills:
- Excellent clinical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems
- Adaptability and resilience in diverse and dynamic environments
Physical and Mental Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, moving patients, and standing for long periods.
- Resilience in high-pressure environments, including emergency and high-acuity settings.
- Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as required by assignment.
