Key Responsibilities

  • Direct Patient Care: Assist patients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
  • Vital Signs & Monitoring: Measure and record patient vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate; report any changes to supervising staff.
  • Patient Support: Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a safe and caring environment.
  • Nutrition Assistance: Assist patients with eating and hydration needs, ensuring proper dietary intake as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Environmental Safety: Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary patient environment; assist with light housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Patient Mobility: Safely assist patients with transfers, ambulation, and positioning; ensure adherence to fall prevention protocols.
  • Documentation: Record patient information accurately in the medical record system, including intake, output, and any significant changes in behavior or condition.

Qualifications

  • Certification: Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in [State].
  • Education: High school diploma or GED.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
  • Skills:

Physical and Mental Requirements
